Superleague of seasons 2019-2020 is full. Qualifying series is already over. Cactus defeated CIU – A League finalist in the 5th and decisive match and won the series 3:2. Accordingly, Archil Jghenti’s team, which took the 9th place in the regular championship retained a place in the Superleague.
CIU was leading in the first half of the match. The team of Bojan Salatic was winnin by 10 points for a while, however, Cactus with the lead of Delano Spencer reduced the difference to a minimum point. CIU had just one point of leadership for the big break and after renewing the game, the situation changed cardinally. Cactus started a quarter win 10:0, gained a leadership and kept it until the end.
Eventually, Cactus won a game and a ticket for the Superleague – 90:69. Delano Spencer led the winners with 31 points. Nicholas Neal scored 23 points. Andre Walker was the most effective with 19 points in CIU. Wendell Lewis scored 18 points and 10 rebounds. Beqa Tsivtszivadze had 17 points.
