As it was expected Cyber could not resist Telavi “Burji” and there are almost no questions to be answered in A League qualification tournament. If Gori “Iverioni” will not lose by 31 points against Burji in next game, it will gain right to play in final round of qualification tournament against Sokhumi “Kolkha Margveti”. Cyber which consists of non-professional players is only formally competing in qualification tournament and identity of group stage winner should be decided between Iverioni and Burji. Last game between this teams was finished by Iverioni’s victory.

We remind you that 4 teams are fighting for right to compete in “A” league. Sokhumi “Kolkha Margveti” which was playing in last years championship hold last place in tournament and is obliged to play qualification rounds now. Winner of group stage will face Margveti in final round of qualification. Teams will play 2 games and winner will compete in 2022-2023 season A League. Other 5 teams competing in A League are: Dinamo, Astrali, Orbi, GTUNI and team of Akaki Tsereteli state University.

As for today’s game. Team of Telavi defeated opponent by 110:53. Coach started game with his main players however as difference between the teams was obvious he later mosly focused on young substitutes, Kelvin Chick sored triple double, 11 points, 10 assists, 13 steals.
Zakari Henderson scored triple double as well – 15 points 12 rebounds 10 assist. The best scorer of Burji became Giorgi Kvachantiradze – 21 points.
Saba Nergadze with 31 points had the best result in Cyber. Jondo Somma and Luka Tsirekidze scored per 9 points. Saba Otiashvili scored 12 rebounds and 4 points.
