The Super League was renewed today after the FIBA window. Sokhumi – an outsider of the championship arrived in Adjara, they fought, but eventually lost.
Sokhumi started the game well and even won the first period with 6 points – 21:15. In the second quarter, the situation has changed in favor of the home team, they minimized the difference before the big break – 39:40.
The third period brought the major change. The hosts won with 15 points – 29:14. Sokhumi couldn’t manage to reduce the 14-point difference in the last period and they lost 73:82.
Spencer Collins and Ilia Shemosyuk led the winners with 22-22 points. Bishop Daniels was the most effective with 21 points in Sokhumi. Sergo Atuashvili scored 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The remaining matches of the 20th round will be held tomorrow in Kutaisi and on Saturday – in Tbilisi.
