12 tour of the Superleague is over. Tbilisian teams – Delta and Cactus met each other in the last match. Both teams needed a victory very much. Delta wanted to strengthen in the upper part of the standings and Cactus needed it just to promote from the lower part. Cactus, trained by Archil Jghenti is one of the outsiders and is fighting to stay in the Superleague.
The match between Delta and Cactus didn’t turn out tense. Although, there was an equal fight in the first half, Delta’s players managed to take control over the game and they didn’t leave any chances to their rivals. This match was over with the solid advantage of Leqso Lapanashvili’s team – 87:64.
Eric Nottage led the winners with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Saba Lobjanidze collected 12 points. Beqa Beqauri scored 11 points and 12 rebounds. Giorgi Turdziladze was the most effective with 24 points and 9 rebounds in Cactus. Nicholas Neal scored 19 points.
