The team trained by Irakli Khoshtaria beat locals in Kutaisi 84:76 and took a revenge for yesterday’s defeat.the score is 1:1 in series and the next two matches will be held in Tbilisi on May 17 and 18. Dinamo gained a court advantage with this, which means they will play the next two matches in Tbilisi and will go to the finals in case of victory.
Kutaisian’s started today’s match successfully again and were winning by 10 points after the first period – 24:14. However, Dinamo changed tactics from the second quarter and saw the result eventually. They played a good defensive game and scored lots of points thanks to long range shoots and fast breaks.
Dinamo reduced the difference to 3 points for the big break and tied the game from the third quarter. They won it 25:16 and advanced before the decisive period. Finally, Dinamo brought the game to victory.
Demagoj Bubalo led the winners with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks. Reger Dowell scored 20 points, Jordan Swopshire had – 17. Jonathan Lee was the most effective with 23 points and 12 assists in Kutaisi. Akaki Dvalishvili scored 18 points.
