The planned victory of Olimpi over Mgzavrebi

Basketball club Mgzavrebi no longer has even a theoretical chance to stay in the Super League, and as soon as this story became clear, the leadership of the club released the legionnaires. This team has been relegated from the Super League with foreign players and without them they are doomed in any match. Consequently, Mgzavrebi were without chances in the penultimate round match – with Olimpi. Olimpi won the match very easily – 85:42 (Statistics) and equalized the wins and losses: 9-9.

All 11 players on the court scored points from Olimpi. Kendrick Thompson led the winners with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Kakha Jintcharadze collected 10 points and 4 players – Levan Gogichaishvili, Bundu Abdulai, Luka Kalatozishvili and Davit Abuladze scored equal 9-9 points. Davit Baramidze was the most effective in Mgzavrebi with 11 points. Soso Gognadze had 6 points and 10 rebounds. 

Olimpi has 2 matches left to play in the regular season, and Mgzavrebi will hold the last meeting of the Super League season on April 17 – against Vera.
