Tbilisi Olympic Palace is hosting the next round matches of Super League today. Olimpi and one of the outsiders – Sokhumi met with each other. Leonid Ivatin’s team – Olimpi justified the status of favorites. The Olympians won all the periods convincingly and eventually won the game with a 37-point difference – 87:50.
As it turned out, Sokhumi has serious problems. There is a new legionary in the team- Lithuanian Vytautas Kamarunas, but this transfer did not have the effect yet. Sokhumi lost the first period – 9:18 and failed to improve the situation in the remaining time.
The Olympians played the team-game. Gegi Baqradze became the top scorer with 16 points. Merab Boqolishvili and Morris Hill took 14-14 points each. 13 points and 9 rebounds were accumulated on Mark Ogden’s account. Levan Revazashvili scored 10 points from Sokhumi. His brother, Maizer Revazashvili scored 9 points.
In the next match, Kaktus and Delta will play against each other.
