One match of the Super League was held today in Tbilisi Olympic Palace. The result of the game was easily predictable, as far as Sokhumi, which is an outsider, has got only one victory during the whole championship. It would be a big sensation for them to win against Olimpi. The sensation did not happen – Olimpi won the match without any complications – 89:41.
Sokhumi started well and even won the first period 15:13. But their defense has collapsed in the second quarter. Olimpi won the period 33:7, gained a big advantage and was leading until the end of the game. Givi Baqradze led the winners with 25 points and 8 assists. Morris Hill scored 14 points and 11 rebounds. Alexander Bolqvadze and Gegi Baqradze had 12-12 points each. Giorgi Keinashvili was the most effective with 11 points in Sokhumi. Sergo atuashvili accumulated 9 points and 11 rebounds.
