One finalist of the Superleague is known – it’s Delta, as for the second one, finalists of the previous season – Dinamo and Kutaisi are fighting for this title. The score between them was 1:1 and today is the third match, which ended with Kutaisi’s convincing victory – 76:56.
Dinamo played well, but only in the first half, winning it 37:31. The situation totally changed from the third period, Kutaisians won it 30:11 and gained a 13-points advantage befre the decisive quarter. Apparently, third period was a decisive one, after which, Kote Tughushi’s team gained an easy victory. Both teams let young players to finish the game at the end and eventually, Kutaisi gained a deserved victory.
Akaki Dvalishvili led the winners with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Giorgi Barbaqadze scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. LJ Booth collected 14 points and 8 rebounds. Demagoj Bubalo was the most effective with 16 points and 10 rebounds in Dinamo. Jordan Swopshire scored 14 points.
Kutaisi is winning the series 1:0 and has one more victory ahead to make it to the finals. The next match of the series will be held tomorrow, on May 18, 18:00 at Tbilisi Olympic Palace.
