Kutaisi and Dinamo confrontation ended with a convincing victory of the Imeretian Club. Vice-champion Kutaisi won today’s match between the last season’s finalists – 79:68. Dinamo has also lost match against Titebi in the first round, which led them to the lowest point of the table.
Meanwhile, current vice-champion – Kutaisi gained a leadership. They defeated Tsu-Hyundai and went to the first place after today’s victory. Kutaisi did not have any troubles to get the desired result. They gained an advantage at the beginning and maintained it until the very end. Dinamo only managed to reduce the difference to 6 points two minutes before the final siren.
De Juan Wright led the winners with 21 points. Akaki Dvalishvili scored 13 points. Jonathan Lee and Terrence Thompson had 11-11 points each. The latter had 12 rebounds as well and became the only player with double-double in this match. Mikheil Chochua was the most effective with 20 points in Dinamo. Jordan Swopshire scored 15 points.
