The third match of the Superleague turned out tense. The league debutants, TSU-Hyundai and MIA Academy-Titebi have met each other. Despite the fact that this is the first season for them in the highest league, neither of them seem to have any troubles. Both teams are promoted in the standings and TSU-Hyundai is among the leaders.
The fate of the match wasn’t decided until the last minute. Hyundai was mainly leading, but Titebi was catching up all the time. 3:25 minutes before the final siren, MIA Academy-Titebi managed to advance thanks to Joel Almeida – 77:76. In the decisive moment of the match, Benjamin Vozzola, the new player of TSU-Hyundai, led his team by 3-pointer and 2-pointer one after another.
TSU-Hyundai promoted 90:86 40 seconds before the end. Nika Metreveli and James Milliken led the winners with 18-18 points each. Ben Vozzola scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Giorgi Korsantia and Ratko Petric had 10-10 points each. Joel Almeida was the most effective with 27 points and 16 rebounds in Titebi. Giorgi Sharabidze scored 21 points.
