TSU-Hyundai defeated Cactus and took place among leaders

The 4th tour of Super League ended with a match of TSU-Hyundai and Cactus. Super League Debutant defeated already very experienced Cactus and took place among leaders. Nikoloz Cherkezishvili’s team won 3rd victory from 4 matches and joined Kutaisi and Olimpi with similar results.

TSU-Hyundai finally won by 89:75, but Cactus had a quite solid advantage in the first half. After the loss of the first period 20:21, Cactus managed to win 28:18 in the second quarter at the expense of the fast game and accurate shots and went to the big break with a solid handicap – 48:39.

TSU-Hyundai was completely different after the break and the game was changed cardinally. With the lead of Sandro Sanadze, Christian Anderson, James Milliken and Giorgi Korsantia Tsu-Hyundai managed to tie the game completely. They reduced the difference very quickly and gained 7-points advantage before the 4th quarter. Eventually, Cactus lost by quite big difference.

Giorgi Korsantia led the winners with 20 points and 12 rebounds. James Milliken accumulated 18 points. Sandro Sanadze had 17 points. Beqa Chikviladze was the most effective with 17 points in Cactus. Antony January scored 13 points.
