Titebi celebrated its 3rd victory

Two of the leader teams – Titebi and Dinamo played in the central match of the 5th round of the Superleague. both teams had 1-1 losses before this match and the winner of this meeting would maintain leadership in the standings. Tha match turned out quite tense, the winner of which was unknown until the very end.

Both teams were quite fast, but due to technical mistakes and missed balls the general score was low. Neither of the teams was able to gain an important advantage. Dinamo won the first period 23:19 and the second quarter was won by Titebi 23:16. Equal game continued in the third period as well, but the decisive one was ahead. Titebi, trained by Lasha Gamkrelidze, advanced by 9 points in the beginning of the final period at the expense of a team-game and their shooter – Luke Moyer. Teimuraz Babunashvili, Richard MAtiashvili and Zaur Janelidze’s effectiveness is also noteworthy.

Anyway, 4 minutes before the end, Dinamo reduced the difference to 2 points, but their head coach – Muhammed Tachi got nervous and was eventually fouled out of the court. After this, Titebi managed to get a desirable result and gained their 3rd victory.

Luke Moyer led the winners with 26 points. Tristin Walley scored 18 points and 13 rebounds. Daniel Williams had 10 points. Tyler Williams was the mot effective with 16 points in Dinamo. Luka Bulashvili scored 13 points. Cedric Council had a double-double -11 points and 11 rebounds.
