Cactus Defeated Vera in the First Game of Super League
31st super league has started on October 23rd. During last years, 11 teams and competing in Georgian Championship and tradition continues this season as well. 11 teams will play games in 2 rounds, and each of them will have to participate in 20 matches during regular championship. After this, best 8 will advance to playoff and continue to fight for championship from quarterfinals.
Vera and Cactus faced each other in the first game of 2022-2023 super league. Match was quite tensed. During the game leader was changed 15 times, and score was tied for 10 time, mostly Vera was wining however Cactus was advancing time to time as well.
Before the last quarter, Vera was winning for 2 points, however team coached by Irakli Khoshtaria was able to throw with more accuracy. Vera’s coach, Davit Gasitashvili tried to take time outs and change tactics, however Cactus was able to maintain leadership and win by 73:69 (Statistics)
