Georgian U16 girls’ team defeated Moldova 71:37

Georgain U16 girls’ team went to Kishinev, Moldova to participate in C division of European Championship. 7 countries are gathered in Kishinev, the best will be revealed between them. Georgia is with Moldova and Gibraltar in the group. Scotland, Wales, Malta and Cyprus are in another group.

Couches of our team are Nino Kipshidze and Shota Iaqashvili. Georgia has held the first meeting against Moldova and defeated 71:37. Keso Barbaqadze was the most effective with 23 points and 24 rebounds. Tako Papuashvili scored 16 points, Noi Tsomaia had – 13. Eka Tsivtsivadze had 6 points and 9 assists.

Georgian team will hold the next game against Gibraltar, on July 18. 2 best teams will go to the semifinals and meet the 2 best teams from the second group.
