Dudu Dadiani Memorial will start on October 7, without spectators

The tournament in memory of the tragically deceased vice-president of the Basketball National Federation, Dudu Dadiani, will start on October 7.

The memorial games will be held at the new Olympic Palace in Tbilisi in accordance with special regulations agreed with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. Spectators at the games will not be allowed and special preventive measures will be taken for the spread of coronavirus.

9 teams will take part in Dudu Dadiani 2020 Memorial, which were divided into 3 groups as follows:

A Group – TSU, Rustavi, Mgzavrebi
B Group – Vera, Cactus, Titebi
C Group – Kutaisi, Olimpi, Tskhum-Apkhazeti

The teams will play one round in the groups, after which the first place winners will advance to the semifinals. The fourth team to complete the semifinals will be the second place-holder. According to the regulations, teams in one group will not meet each other in the semifinals. 

The group stage games will be held on October 7, 8 and 9. The semifinals are on October 11, and the finals are scheduled for October 12, at 6:00 p.m.
