Delta has become a winner of Dudu Dadiani Memorial. The team trained by Lekso Lapanashvili, Beka Kartsivadze, Davit Artsividze and Vaka Bichashvili defetead MIA Academy-Titebi 85:75 and won the first official title in club history.
We would like to remind you, that Dudu Dadiani’s memorial tournament is held since 2002 and has been held for the seventeenth time this year. All 10 team of the Super League participated in the tournament, they were devided into 2 groups and the winners of this groups have gained the right to play in finals.
Delta played against a debutant of the Super League – MIA Academy-Titebi. Their confrontation turned out quite tense. The fate of the match was decided at the last minutes, in favor of Delta.
Beqa Beqauri was named as the best player of the tournament. He ended the match with 21 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was awarded with a special prize by Nita and Sandro Dadiani. A captain – Zviad Antadze also got the winner’s cup from them.
