One mor semifinalist of the Georgian Cup was revealed. The team trained by Leqso Lapanashvili and Davit Artsividze defeated Batumi 92:65 and won the quarterfinal series 2:1. Delta’s rival in the semifinals will be the winner of TSU-Hyundai and Mgzavrebi’s match. In the series between these teams, TSU-Hyundai is leading 1:0 and the second match is scheduled on April 2.
As for Delta and Batumi’s match, it’s obvious that Delta defeated Batumi quite easily. The first period was more or less equal, Delta won it 22:18, after that they set full control over the game. Lapanashvili’s team won the second period 25:16 and their leadership was already 13 points for the big break. Eventually, Delta gained victory by 27 points.
