Decisive matches of U16 boys’ Championship (division A and B) will be held today in Italy and Montenegro. Representatives of Georgia will serve matches in both countries.
Maka Kupatadze will serve the final of European B division in Montenegro held between Netherlands and Poland. This is Kupatadze’s second final match in the current month. Maka Kupatadze served Girls’ C division match on August 4, where Armenia defeated Malta.
As for European Championship A division held in Italy, the match for the 3rd place is an interesting one for us. The host – Italy will play against Russia for bronze medals and Merab Ratishvili will be the commissioner of this match. Ratishvili served 3rd place match last July on Girls’ Eurobasket, where Serbia defeated Great Britain with a huge advantage 81:55.
