14th tour of Superleague is devided into several days. It opened on April 20 with a match between TSU-Hyundai and Olimpi. 1 match was held in Kutaisi yesterday and 2 matches here in Tbilisi today. Dinamo defeated Cactus 83:70 in the first game and improved its position.
As for Cactus, it was a really bad lose for them. The team trained by Archil Jghenti is fighting to stay in the Superleague and its main goal is to get among the 8 best teams. Because, as you already know, the team taking the last place, will play in A league next year, while the team on the 9th place will have to play a qualifying matches with A-league finalist.
Cactus had quite a good performance until the final period. They were mostly leading and had 2-points advantage before the decisive quarter. Dinamo players, trained by Irakli Khoshtaria, played with a complete mobilization and minimal mistakes in the final period. They won the last quarter 27:12 and eventually gained a convincing victory.
Jordan Swopshire led the winners with 22 points. Merab Boqolishvili scored 17 points. Demagoj Bubalo collected 16 points and 9 rebounds. Nicholas Neal and Dominic Elliot had 17-17 points each in Cactus.
