Dinamo defeated Tskhum-Apkhazeti 70:68 and a decisive match was appointed in the series

The third, decisive match in the semifinal series between Tskhum-Apkhazeti and Dinamo has been appointed. In the second, dramatic match of the series, Dinamo coached by Muhammed Tachi defeated Tskhumi – 70:68 (Statistics) and equalized the total score – 1:1. Accordingly, the third, decisive meeting has been scheduled, which will be held on May 19, at the Olympic Palace, and the winner will win a ticket to the Super League final.

Today’s match was full of mistakes, but it turned out to be quite tense. In the previous match of the series, Tskhumi was losing by 12 points in the third period and finally won in such a way that the situation did not become tense. It was almost the same situation today, but Tskhum-Apkhazeti lacked a little to victory.

At the end of the third period, Dinamo was winning by 14 points (60:46) and Tskhumi managed so much that they got a chance to win. At the last minute, when everything seemed to be over as Dinamo was winning by 5 points and less than 10 seconds were left before the final siren, Tskhumi’s leader Joshua Mc Folly shot a three-pointer 6 seconds before the end and reduced the gap to 2 points. Mc Folly instantly stole the ball brought into the game by Michael Edwards, exceeded the three-point mark and shot the winning ball, which didn’t fall into the basket and… Tskhumi still had a chance, Nodar Gogodze rebounded the ball, passed it to Nika Chechelashvili, who missed a close shot accompanied by the final siren.

So the match, which was mainly led by Dinamo, ended dramatically. Tskhum-Apkhazeti coached by Nikoloz Cherkezishvili was leading for just a couple of minutes, with a maximum of 4 points, when Dinamo was leading for more than 30 minutes and with an important difference. There were a lot of technical flaws from both teams, which was probably due to the importance of the match. Both teams lost the ball a total of 39 times.

Alonzo Walker recorded the best result with 10 points and 13 rebounds from the winning Dinamo team. Luka Bulashvili scored 14 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Nika Darbaidze had 13 points. Alexandre Phevadze was the most effective in Tskhum-Apkhazeti with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Vasil Beruashvili collected 12 points. Raheem Johnson scored 10 points and 6 rebounds.

The decisive match of the series will be held on May 19, at the Olympic Palace, at 13:00.
