Successful debut of Nikoloz Cherkezishvili and Deng Akouth in Mega

Today 2 new members of the team had their debut in the basketball club Mega – head coach Nikoloz Cherkezishvili and Australian center with African roots Deng Akouth. The debutant of the Super League won the match by 24 points, while the new legionnaire collected 13 points, 19 rebounds and 3 blocks. Efficiency index of Akouth was 33 and it’ll be true to say that Mega player and coach made a brilliant debut. 

The Super League debutant had lost 5 matches in a row and needed this victory like an air. In its part, Cactus is also among outsiders. Both teams had 2-2 victories and one of them would advance in the standings in case of success.

Mega played very fast basketball, they were unstoppable both with quick breakthroughs and long shots. Mega won the first period – 27:19, the second – 23:20 and gained a favorable lead before the big break.
