The 9th round of the Superleagu is finished. Decisive match was held in Rustavi, where the team of Georgios Ketselidis met Olimpi. The meeting ended with an easy victory of the hosts – 94:59, that ended 5-match undefeated series of Dimitri Jakobov’s team. After 2 losses in the beginning of the Superleague, the Olympians have won 5 matches in a row, and today they have stopped a successful series in Rustavi.
The description of the match is useless. It started, continued and finished with the domination of Rustavi. The team trained by Georgios Ketselidis, was obviously above Olimpi. They gained an important advantage from the very beginning, increased it even more throughout the match and eventually, won with a huge difference.
Ilia Londaridze led the winners with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Denzel Livingston scored 15 points. Merab Boqolishvili had 14 points and 8 rebounds. Revaz Rogava was the most effective with 21 points in Olimpi. Nika Ramishvili scored 11 points.
