Rustavi easily defeated Vera and reinforced its leadership in the Super League

Rustavi team was already a leader before this round and after the victory gained today, they strengthened the first place even more. It is true that they are equal to Kutaisi with points, however, Qvemo Qartli players have two less losses than their competitors and lead the Super League convincingly with lost points. Rustavi trained by Anatoli Boisa hosted Vera today and defeated it with a convincing difference –  79:53 (Statistics) without any additional complications.

Rustavi gained the lead after equal debut minutes and at the end of the first period they were already winning 10 points – 25:15. The hosts beat the opponent in all components. 2 African-American legionnaires in the back line – Mike Davis and Maliek White were a giving hard time to their rivals. Gegi Baqradze was active undercover both in defense and while gaining points.

In the second quarter, Qvemo Qartli gained even more points and increased the advantage to 20 points. Levan Patsatsia was trying his best to change the attitude of his players, he was also giving them assignments during minute breaks, but Vera could not cope with Rustavi and the time allotted for the match also ran out so that the difference in the score was not reduced.

Mike Davis led the winners with 19 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Gegi Baqradze had 18 points. Maliek White collected 13 points and 6 assists. Josh Hawley was the most effective in Vera with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists. Brycon Scot scored 17 points.
