The project of the Georgian National Basketball Federation, which serves to raise the level of young basketball players, continues. The project involves participation in the European Youth League at different age levels. Tomorrow, in the morning, the team Georgia 2008 composed of Georgian clubs will leave for Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and will take part in the first round of the European Youth League.

Our team will play 5 matches in the first round. The head coach of the team is a Serbian specialist, Milos Gligorijevic, who has been in Georgia for 5 years and is an assistant to Ilias Zouros in the national team. Gligorijevic is actively involved in monitoring age groups and has selected promising players from the youngsters born in 2008 to compete in the Europa League.

The first round matches will be held on October 29-31, and the second round calendar will be known later.
