Georgian U16 girls’ team won silver medals

Georgian U16 girls’ team is a silver medal winner. The team trained by Nino Kipshidze and Shota Iaqashvili lost the final match of European Championship C division against Cyprus. Georgians weren’t able to resist and lost 38:75.

There was an equal fight in the first period, Cyprus won it by 4 points – 14:10. But from the second period they set a full control over the match and went to the big break with a solid advantage 36:19 after winning the second period 22:9.

The situation didn’t change in the second half. Cyprus continued active play and retained a leadership until the end. Eventually they won with a huge difference 75:38 and became the champions of C division.
