Today, 2 matches of the Super League were held at the Olympic Palace, which were postponed in the previous rounds due to Covid-19 regulations. In the first match, the sole leader of the championship – Rustavi met Olimpi, which is in the middle of the standings. Olmpi is guaranteed to play in the playoffs, however, Davit Rogava’s team tried its best to beat the leader, but lacked a little to win.

At the end of the first period, one of the leaders of Olimpi, Kendrick Thompson, got injured and could not continue the game, however, his team continued to fight and did not give in to a strong opponent. The match continued tense until the last minutes and finally ended with a 2-point victory of Qvemo Qartli – 89:87 (Statistics).

Maliek White led the winners with 27 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Michael Davis scored 17 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Merab Bokolishvili and Jylan Washington had 11-11 points each. Kakha Jintcharadze was the most effective in Olimpi with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Bundu Abdulai scored 15 points. 

In the second match, Tskhum-Apkhazeti and Vera faced each other. Vera came to the match with 8 players, from which Vakhtang Qadaria did not play. They fought and had a chance to win, but they could not resist until the end. In the last minutes, two players of Vera fouled out and could not avoid the defeat – 80:86 (Statistics)

With this victory, Tskhum-Apkhazeti took the 3rd place in the standings. Even if Tskumi loses in the remaining round, they will still finish the regular championship in the 3rd place. The last round matches of the Super League will be held on April 17 and 18.
