The Jr. NBA Coaches – Online program continues this week, on July 14th at 20:00 pm (Tbilisi Time) with Will Weaver.
This clinic session will feature Coach Will Weaver, who graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s degree and joined the Longhorns basketball program as a special assistant. After his time at the college level, the Philadelphia 76ers hired Coach Weaver and became a special assistant to Coach Brett Brown, and after helping with the rebuilding phase the 76ers went through, the Brooklyn Nets hired Weaver as part of their coaching staff.
Will Weaver also has experience in Australia, having been the head coach of the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL) in 2019, where the Kings became minor champions for the first time in over a decade. After Australia, Coach Weaver returned to the NBA, where he was hired by the Houston Rockets as an assistant coach..
