Mgzavrebi defeated Sokhumi - 76:75

Today Mgzavrebi and Sokhumi played against each other. The result of the match was of great importance to both teams. Sokhumi has only 1 victory in the current season, while Mgzavrebi are close to be dropped and each victory is important for them.

Bishop Daniels, the new member of Sokhumi, did not participate in the match, as he was disqualified in the Korkia-Sakandelidze memorial match and the prohibition followed in the Super League too. The meeting was very tense, quick and equal. Non of the teams could manage to gain the lead.

The fate of the match was revealed in the last seconds –  76:75 in favor of Mgzavrebi. Adrian Bowie led the winners with 24 points. Kakha Jintcharadze scored 20 points. Rati Nutsubidze accumulated 14 points and 7 rebounds. Kwan Waller was the most effective with 22 points in Sokhumi. Jordan Price scored 15 points. Sergo Atuashvili had double-double – 12 points and 12 rebounds.
