Mgzavrebi hosted Cactus in another match of the Super League. Despite the fact, that they aren’t between the leaders, both teams had really successful matches recently. Mgzavrebi defeated Kutaisi and Rustavi, Cactus won against Rustavi, Sokhumi and Kutaisi. At the same time, there was a huge difference between these teams in the standings in favor of Cactus.
Despite this, the meeting ended with 91:77 with a convincing victory of Mgzavrebi – trained by Buba Berishvili. Archil Jghenti – Cactus head coach commented, that his team met this game psychologically unprepared. As you already know, Cactus went through the Cup finals and as Archil Jghenti said, the players were too confident for this match.
The main center – Bernard Nkal and the spare forward Rati Nutsubidze were missing today from Mgzavrebi due to injuries.
