Olimpi defeated Batumi in overtime

In the last round a big fight was held between Olimpi and Batumi. The Tbilisi team was guaranteed to play in the playoffs, but needed a win to take as high a place in the standings as possible and thus avoid playing against leaders in the very first rounds. 

The situation of the Adjara team was more difficult, because in case of a loss, Batumi was actually left out of the playoffs. They had a chance to reach the playoffs, but – less real. The meeting turned out to be very tense and its fate could not be decided in the main time – 80:80. In the extra 5 minutes, Olimpi managed to win and moved up to 5th place in the table. The eventual score is 92:88 (Statistics).

Kakha Jintcharadze was the best among the winners, who shot the most important balls in the last minutes of the main time and in general. He collected 32 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Devante Foster scored 21 points and 10 rebounds. Donovan Smith had 15 points and 9 rebounds. Thomas Wilder was the most effective in Batumi with 31 points. Beka Bekauri scored 11 points and 11 rebounds.
