The third match of the 19th round was held between Olimpi and Mgzavrebi. The Olimpians started the season productively, they were among the leaders, but then, some of the players injured and Olimpi went down in the standings. Olimpi gained several important victories in the last matches and they needed to win against Mgzavrebi.
On the other hand, it was an important game for Mgzavrebi too. Buba Berishvili’s team is in the lower half of the standings. They have done everything to win, the game was almost equal before the last period, but eventually, they lost – 81:87.
Givi Baqradze led the winners with 23 points and 6 assists. Merab Boqolishvili and Morris Hill scored 13-13 points each. Gegi Baqradze had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Adrian Bowie was the most effective with 33 points in Mgzavrebi. Kakha Jintcharadze scored 14 points.
