Regional Development Program Continues In Batumi!

Important projects by Georgian Basketball Federation’s Regional Development Department and the FIBA Youth Development Fund continue to support basketball development in regions of Georgia. Nikoloz Tskitishvili, Vice President of the Georgian Basketball Federation, Shalva Oniani, Head of Regional Development Department, and his assistant, Aleko Petriashvili visited Batumi and brought 24 seconds short clock and brand new score board  to Basko Academy.

As U18 team from Basko is competing in A League this year, in order to host games of the tournament it was crucial for them to have modern equipment. Thanks to director of Basko Academy, Ivane Maisuradze, newly renovated so called “Navtobaza” sport hall will be further owned by Basko academy. On February 3rd, Basko will host u18 championship game in new, modern equipped arena.

One week ago representatives of regional development department visited Gori and together with score board, brought 24 seconds short clock there as well. Reginal Development program will further continue in 2023.
