The Georgian national team started the second round of European Youth League successfully. The team trained by Nikoloz Cherkezishvili defeated Estonian “Kalevi” 82:47 in the first match of the second round in the city of Ventspils, Latvia. I would like to remind you, that Each round lasts for 3 days, during which the participants play 5 matches. The first round was also held in Latvia on September 21-24 and our team trained by Nikoloz Cherkezishvili won 4 out of 5 matches.

Davit Apkhazava, Alexandre Fevadze, Nikoloz Chechelashvili, Nikoloz Metskhvarishvili, Giorgi Korsantia, Nikoloz Leonidze, Giorgi Japaridze, Luka Maziashvili, Akaki Pipia, Nika Darbaidze, Giorgi Kuchava.

Giorgi Korsantia was the most effective with “Kalev”, he picked up 29 points and 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. Davit Apkhazava scored 11 points.
