Georgian National U20 team which is competing at international tournament in Istanbul won its first game. Team coached by Miloš Gligorijevic defeated Netherlands. During whole match Georgians had huge advantage and ended game with 19-point victory – 90:71.
Nikoloz Gaprindashvili with 23 points became top scorer in Georgian Team. With overall result Vladimer Saralidze was the best, he scored 20 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks. 8 points were scored by Zurab Vashakidze. Giorgi Jgent and Vakhtang Gogberashvili earned 7 points each. As for Mate Kapanadze and Nika Ratiani, they scored 5 points.
We kindly remind you that Georgian National team is getting ready for U20 B division championship which will take place in Tbilisi and 19 teams will participate in it. Tournament will start on July 15th and finish on July 24th and will be held at “Tbilisi Arena” and new “Olympic Palace”
