Georgian U-18 team lost to Germany

Georgian team is still without a victory in the U-18 European Challenger in North Macedonia. The Georgians coached by Davit Rogava and Kakha Tomardze lost the match of the 4th round with Germany 58:106 (Statistics). As it can be seen from the score, our team did not have a chance to succeed, the Germans, claiming the advantage from the very beginning, had the lead until the end of the game.

Germany won the first period 31:11, and was leading by 29 points before the big break. When our team wasn’t able to change anything in the 3rd period, the fate of the match was decided. In the end, the Georgians lost by a big difference and are still without a victory before the penultimate round in the Macedonian EuroChallenger.

Giorgi Ochkhikidze showed the best result in our team, who gained 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Giorgi Meskhi with 8 points and Guja Khvedelidze with 7 points come after him.

Georgian team will hold the last match of European Challenger on August 8, at 17:00 Tbilisi time, against Croatia.
