FIBA Europe has started a new club season. From September 28 to October 1, there will be 4 FIBA Europe Cup qualifying tournaments for boys, the winners of which and the other 2 best runners-up will play in the regular season of this cup.
One such tournament is being held in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk, where with host Yenisei, Hungary’s Szeged, Israel’s Hapoel Haifa, Germany’s Bayreuth and North Macedonia’s TFT Skopje will compete for a ticket to the regular season of the FIBA Europe Cup.
FIBA Europe has appointed Merab Ratishvili as the technical delegate of the tournament, who is the only Georgian who has a FIBA license. Let us remind you that Ratishvili was actively involved in FIBA basketball tournaments last summer and served in the Men’s and Women’s U-19 World Championships, as well as 2 Euro Challengers.
