Rustavi easily defeated Batumi

Two Super League matches were held today. Local club hosted “Batumi” in Rustavi. Rustavi managed to win easily – 87:71 and took the place among the leaders. They gained the advantage from the very beginning.

After the first period, Rustavi had 5-point advantage and in the 2nd quarter they increased the difference to 9 points. After the break, the situation has not changed. The advantage of the home team reached 20 points and it became clear that the Batumians wouldn’t be able to tie the game.

Finally, Rustavi won 87:71 and raised on the second place in the standings with 7 victories and 3 defeats.

Adam Blazek led the winners with 26 points, Tairel Nelson scored 18 points, Jack Crook added 14 points. Spencer Collins scored 22 points in “Batumi”. 13 points were accumulated on Leonid Stephanishin’s account.
