Today’s Super League matches ended with an interesting game of Olimpi and Rustavi. One of the leaders of the championship visited quite ambitious Olimpi and defeated in a tense battle – 83:80.
The meeting was going on with transitional advantage. Initially, the hosts were advanced in the first period – 21:11. From the second quarter, the situation has changed in favor of the guests, who won the second period with 3-points difference – 28:25.
Rustavi players returned more motivated from the big break. They equalized the score and then, advanced thanks to the quick attacks and long shoots. We should mention exceedingly good game of Adam Blazek, Brian Bernard and Tyrell Nelson.
The guests won the 3rd period 24:15 and gained 2-points advantage before the final break – 63:61. Rustavi’s leadership continued till the end and finally, they managed to win 83:80. Adam Blazek led the winnerswith 25 points. Tyrell Nelson scored 19 points and 11 rebounds. Brian Bernard had 15 points. Morris Hill was the most effective with 17 points and 13 rebounds in Olimpi. Givi Baqradze accumulated 15 points.
