Journalists published another rating ahead of EuroBasket on FIBA Website and Georgia holds 14th place out of 24 teams participating in Championship. It should be noted that this is not an official FIBA rating, but rather the opinion of specific, more knowledgeable, and competent individuals than ordinary Eurobasketball fans.

The modern new arena in Tbilisi will provide a stunning backdrop for Group A action, and Georgia have already experienced the winning feeling there after beating Spain last month. Their next meeting, however, will have an entirely different feel. Georgia possess one of the strongest frontcourts with Goga Bitadze set to join the Toko Shengelia-Giorgi Shermadini tandem.
According to the ranking Georgia is ahead of such teams as Ukraine, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Polans. Other members of our group, Belgium and Bulgaria are also behind us. However, as previously stated, Spain and Turkey are at the top of the rankings, as shown below

We remind you that EuroBasket 2022 will be held from September 1 to September 18, and aside from Tbilisi, Milan (Italy), Prague (Czechia), and Koln (Germany) will host the championship, with the play-offs taking place in Berlin.
