Georgian U16 Team Lost Game Against Hungary
Georgian U16 team lost another game at FIBA European Championship (“B” Division). Team coached by Irakli Cherkezishvili and Dimitri Jakobov faced Hungary and lost by 65:82 (Statistics). After this defeat, Georgian team has 2 loses and is one of the outsiders of the group. Consequently, chances of advancing to playoff round are minimized.
We remind you that Championship took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, and 22 countries are participating. Best 3 prize winner teams will promote to elite A division. Georgia U16 team lost first game against Belgium 75:85, and had harder game against Hungary. In previous game Aleksandre Daushvili with 21 points was the best scorer. Luka Mujirishvili collected 17 points, Nikoloz Abuladze scored 13 points and Avtandil Bakhtadze contributed 10 points and 8 rebounds.
