Georgian U18 Girls’ Team on the European Championship

Georgian U18 Girls’ team went to Andora, which hosts European Championship C division. 7 countries of the continent gathered in Andora and they are going to reveal the best. These countries are: Gibraltar, Andora, Georgia, Armenia, Monaco, Malta and Moldova.

Gibraltar is a current champion of C division. Georgia was playing in B division last year, but couldn’t resist the competition in a stronger environment and returned to C division as one of the favorites. The team trained by Nino Kipshidze and Zviad Didbaridze got into the group together with Armenia and Gibraltar. Another group consists Monaco, Malta, Andora and Moldova.

The tournament has started on July 30. Armenia defeated Gibraltar with a huge difference 63:33 yesterday. Today, Georgians will play against Gibraltar at 14:45 and then on August 1 – against Armenia (17:00).
