Georgian U18 Girls’ Team started European Championship with a victory against Gibraltar

Georgian U18 Girls’ Team started European Championship (C division) with a victory. The team trained by Nino Kipshidze and Zviad Didbaridze defeated current champions – Gibraltar 59:36.

As the score shows, Georgian team didn’t have any trouble winning this match. Our team won all 4 periods convincingly and eventually, gained 24-points victory. Nino Gadelia became a top scorer with 21 points, while Keso Barbaqadze was the most efficient with 18 rebounds and 4 points. Tamar Papuashvili scored 12 points.

Let us remind you that Armenia is also in our group. Georgia will play against them tomorrow and will take the first place in the group in case of victory. Second-place holder will also go to the semifinals. The match between Georgia and Armenia will start at 17:00 (Georgian time).
