საქართველოს 18 წლამდე გოგონათა ნაკრებმა ევროპის ჩემპიონატზე გამოსვლა გამარჯვებით დაიწყო

On July 26th FIBA U18 Women’s Championship (“C” Division) took place in Andora. 6 countries together with Georgia: Albania, Andora, Gibraltar, Malta and Moldova are participating in tournament. 

Georgian Team is coached by Nino Kipshidze and Zviad Didbaridze is her assistant. Our team is competing in Group B and has to face Gibraltar and Moldova. 

Our Team started championship with defeating Gibraltar. Georgians convincingly defeated opponent 39-69. Lika Kvirkvelia with 19 points and 23 rebound was the best scorer in our team.  Ana Namgaladze’s play should also be underlined as she contributed 12 points and 6 rebound. Salome Svani collected 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

Georgia U18 Women’s team will have next game against Andora on June 27, at 18:00.
