TSU-Hyundai gained its 5th victory in a row against Batumi

The 5th tour of Super League started today at the Olympic Palace. TSU-Hyundai and Batumi – teams with different results have met each other in the first match. The Adjarian Club lost the last 3 matches, but TSU-Hyundai had won 4 matches before. The tradition continued: Nikoloz Cherqezishvili’s team beat Batumi 83:70.

Batumians didn’t give up easily. They won the first period 39:36. Then, thanks to the three-pointers of LJ Booth and Nodar Gogodze the guests won the second quarter 25:16. TSU-Hyundai managed to tie the game in the second period 20:15. Returned the leadership before the final period and eventually, achieved theit main goal.

Finally, the hosts won by 13 points and took the first place in Super League standings. Giorgi Korsantia led the winners with 19 points. Charles Milliken collected 18 points. Nika Metreveli scored 14 points. LJ Booth was the most effective with 24 points in Batumi. Nodar Gogodze scored 13 points.
