Super League leader Dinamo met with the outsider Sokhumi today. Sokhumians fought well, they won the first period and were leading in the second quarter with 8 points. But in the end, they did not succeed.
Dinamo has improved the game in the second period and won 28:22. They were missing Mikheil Berishvili. Nicholas Gachesha left the team after the end of the FIBA Europian Cup, so the team is weakened, but it doesn’t affect on the results. Dinamo won the 3rd and the 4th periods 18:14 and finally, won the game with 12 points difference – 81:69.
Giorgi Sharabidze led the winners with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Ilia Londaridze scored 13 points. Lavell Boyd accumulated 10 points. Kwan Waller became the top scorer in Sokhumi with 13 points. Anatoliy Chelovan had 12 points and 9 rebounds, Giorgi Kvetenadze scored 11 points.
After the New Year’s Break, Super League matches will be resumed on January 6.
