Anatoli Boisa and Irakli Dzidziguri Received  FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate

Anatoli Boisa and Irakli Dzidziguri are the next coaches from Georgia who have passed the FIBA ​​ coaching program- (FECC) FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate  – and received certificates. Georgian Basketball Federation, which actively cooperates with FIBA ​​and participates in all major programs provided young coaches with this wonderful opportunity.

Final exams of FECC took place in Podgoritse, during U20 European A Division championship. About 30 coaches from different European countries gathered in Montenegro. Participants have joined the FECC program in 2018, and attended the seminars, first at the U16 European Championship, and attended next stage of program during final stage of the U18 tournament.

Famous specialists such as Andrea Trinchieri and others were invited to the final stage of certification program.

Participants passed 3 kinds of exams: writing part, interview and practice sessions. During first exam, coaches answered basic coaching questions. They passed the interview test having a face-to-face conversation with the famous specialists mentioned above. During practical part of examination young coaches were tested directly on the field.

Georgian Basketbal federation closely cooperates with FIBA ​​in terms of the FECC program as well, and the process of licensing Georgian coaches will actively continue.
