Andro Antelidze Successfully Completed Second Course of FIBA International Coaching License

Young Georgian coach, Andro Antelidze is closer to get FIBA International Coaching License. Georgian Basketball Federation actively cooperates with FIBA ​​and participates in all major coaching programs and consequently amount of licensed coaches is raising step by step. This year Anatoli Boisa and Irakli Dzidziguri received FIBA License as for Andro Antelidze, he successfully completed second course of training.

Second course of FECC took place in Izmir, Turkey during European U18 “A” Division Championship. Main topics discussed during seminars were: offence and defense in transition, defending blocks, developing forwards, main conception of defense, phycological preparation of coaches. Seminars were held by famous specialists such as Pedro Martinez, Nened Trunic, Arik Shiveki and others.

Participants were attending U18 championship games and during matches mostly focused on topics discussed during seminars. Course was finished by exams. Andro Antelidze successfully passed them and completed second course. Last part of trainings will take place in summer 2023, during U20 European Championship.
