Ilias Zouros, the head coach of the Georgian national team, held another online seminar for Georgian coaches. Online seminars have been organized by the Georgian Basketball Federation and the Coaches’ Union for more than a month. Their goal is to support coaches in the face of pandemic and raise their qualifications as much as possible.
Ilias Zouros held his first seminar two weeks ago, after which the Georgian coaches listened to several online seminars by his assistant, Milos Gligorijevic, and the team’s physical training coach, Irakli Shioshvili. This workshop of the Greek specialist was quite interesting and it was about offensive-oriented tactics. Let us remind you that Ilias Zouros focused on defense last time.
The last online conference had about 60 listeners. Getting acquainted with the basketball philosophy of one of the leading specialists of Europe is quite interesting for Georgian, especially for young coaches. Ilias Zouros talked about the above-mentioned component of the game, presented the coaches with diagrams and video clips and answered their questions in the final part of the seminar.
