One of the most popular and significant basketball events – Junior NBA league has finished. Finals of the tournament took place in newly built “Tbilisi Arena” where champions of the season were revealed. In the match for 3rd place, Tbilisi Basket (“Boston”) faced Kutaisi (San Antonio) and won for 55:17. Final of the tournament took place between Wings (“Toronto”) and Aia (“Dalas”). Wings won championship title by 41:32.
After the matches’, awarding ceremony was held. Members of national team- Goga Bitadze, Beka Burkanadze, Kakhaber Jintcharadze, Manuchar Markoishvili, Anatoli Boisa, Paata Guraspauli-head of Georgian Basketball federation board and Nikoloz Deriugin-World and Europe Champion awarded participant teams with special prizes.
4th Place
Kutaisi (San Antonio) finished on 4th place. Members of the team were awarded with special certificates.
3rd place
Tbilisi Basket (Boston) held 3rd place and was awarded with bronze medals and certificates.
2nd place
Aia (“Dalas”) won 2nd place. Members of the team were awarded with silver medals and certificates.
First place
Wings (Toronto) became Winner of 2022 Junior NBA A league 2022. Together with gold medals and certificates, little champions, just like NBA teams, were awarded with championship rings.

The best player (MVP)
Wings (Toronto) member Kotiko Mgeladze became the best player of the 2022 Junior NBA “A” League, who was awarded a special prize by the player of the Georgian national team and Indiana Pacers, Goga Bitadze.
